Thank you for asking about our trip to Trivigno and La Forresteria san Leo. It was a great success. Trivigno as a village does not have much to offer but is a typical small Italian village with friendly and curious inhabitants. La Forresteria was outstanding and a great success from the minute we walked in the door to the minute we left. The hospitality extended to us by the whole family was outstanding, service was perfect and friendly without being familiar. The views were extensive and very enjoyable.
The first morning we were shown maps and points of interest in the area with directions and recommendations. The food was excellent and the service corresponded with the quality of the food. We can absolutely recommend this others. (A note: at the Airport in Naples on the way home we met another of your customers who had spent one night there and they were equally happy.)
One small Minus: the restaurant is rustic and very romantic, however it would be much better in my opinion if the music level was reduced quite a bit. Driving in this area of Italy is quite pleasant as there is not much traffic and the area is not overwhelmed by large numbers of other visitors.
It would also be a good idea if your visitors knew a small amount of Italian or at least had a good phrase book along. The majority of inhabitants speak only Italian. Great fun for body language. :-)
